Map of Jahan Square – Isfahan Province
Isfahan has in its heart an endless collection of historical monuments. The experience of wandering in some of its alleys and streets, drinking tea in old houses, evokes a special atmosphere similar to the passage of history in the mind of every tourist. So it is not unreasonable to be called the flagship of Iranian cities, and of course Naqsh-e Jahan Square, thanks to its unique buildings and architectures, may alone be able to carry a large amount of this definition. This square, which is a masterpiece of the peak period of Safavid Islamic art and architecture, overwhelms tourists: Imam Mosque with its spectacular combination of turquoise blue, Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque with its delicate tiles and Aliaqapo Palace, a lofty mansion to have a view of the most beautiful historical square in the world. One of the historical examples of this city is amazing.
